Cruise Day 3

PoPs isn't feeling the best and is going to stay on board ship today.

We see everything we can possible see, and with all the food we've been eating, it's nice to keep up a fast pace and get some exercise at the same time.

The laughs begin.

We love to learn from the locals.

We come across this great picture, and out of nowhere, everyone starts taking pictures OF THE  PICTURE.

Caption:    "Making Brownies....Alaskan Style!"

Donna and Rick are thinking the bears have a great idea...
I'm sure a conjugal visit is in the near future.

I'm thinking a nice brownie right out of the oven, topped with ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.............YUM!

It's been a long time since I've had someone "special" in my life.

See what I think about when I see the picture of "making brownies"............Heaven help me!

We've been in Port all day, and head back to the ship just in time for cocktails and dinner.

Here's where the story gets good...

The four of us are sitting at the dinner table.
Luckily we were assigned a window table.
Just a little perk from being a repeat traveler. (thanks Holland America)

There are white caps on the small little waves just outside the window.
It looks like we can reach out and run our hands through the water.

Those "little white caps" bring what I would call a "little" motion to the ship.

Donna is sitting next to me and Pops is directly across from me.
Donna asks Pops if he is enjoying the view.

He says he doesn't want to look out.
My thoughts......"who wouldn't want to enjoy the view"

Our food comes...looks delicious, smells delicious and the presentation is artistic.

I can hardly wait!

I close my eyes just as the first fork full touches my lips.................AHHHHHHH!

NO  BLAAAAAHHHHHH, BLAAAAHHHHHH

             Projectile vomit...........................IN MY PLATE!

He can't stop.

It's everywhere and no one seems to know what to do.

There is a little language barrier, as most the dining staff are Jamaican.

We ask for something he can use to get back to the room with...

Our waiter says he'll get a bowl!
A bowl........ we need a BUCKET.

Rick and I head for the front to see if the Maiterdee can be of assistance.

We really need a BARF BAG, or something along that line.

The Maiterdee runs into the ladies room and comes out with a hand full of Sanitary Napkin Bags.
Rick and I start laughing.

Who would ever believe that someone hands us a handful of Sanitary napkin bags.

We get Pops out of his seat,  and he and Rick head back to their cabin...........

Donna and I get reseated with a nice, young couple
celebrating their 10 year Anniversary.

As we look back toward our old table, we notice everyone is looking around, sniffing,
making faces, and leaving.   Within 10 minutes there are 3 empty window tables.

It takes everything I have to keep the laughter in.

"Mr. 10 year" makes a toast ...
      to new friends.

Just as he sits his glass down....
he announces he isn't feeling well.

He thinks there's "too much motion on the ship"

PLEASE NO

He starts gagging, and of course I start uncontrollable laughter.

My mind is reeling...
   Stop laughing Rolinda.  Stop laughing...
I am being so rude, but I can't help it.

Donna tries to explain my uncontrollable laughter and she also gets the giggles.

The laughter is so strong, our eyes are tearing up and neither can't talk.

Poor Mr. 10 Year excuses himself and leaves with his wife in tow.

Oh my God, people around us are dropping like flies...

We receive our second meal of the night and I can't even look at it.
I should have ordered something else.
Visions of my first plate come into play, and my appetite is G O N E !

Rick returns and the giggles continue for hours.
By midnight we are ready to CALL IT A NIGHT!

Hopefully Pops will feel better tomorrow.
